The IBM 4800 SurePOS 720 Model 722 is the entry model of the SurePOS 700. The SurePOS 720 is ideal for the thin client operating environment like that provided by IBM Retail Environment for SUSE LINUX or 4690 OS V4, running proven applications on DOS, or even moving to new applications on Linux. This model can also be configured as a thick client and supports Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional, or Windows Embedded for Point of Service. The model 722 offers an Intel 2GHz Celeron processor and 128M DDR memory standard, with the option of a 40Gb Hard Drive.
